Overview: To establish an understanding and awareness of issues regarding the safe guarding of adults.
Outcome: The course will provide participants with an understanding of the legislation and policy in adult care practice including identifying who is a vulnerable adult, participants will also have the opportunity to discuss how they would respond to the disclosure of abuse. By the end of the course, participants will be able to apply principles of adult protection training to their own care practice.
