Overview: To provide participants with an understanding of Care Planning and its role in the care of clients.
Outcome: This course is designed for care staff and first line managers and will clarify the purpose and principles of Care Planning and Keyworking. Participants will develop their skills and gain a basic knowledge in all four components of Care Planning, which will enable them to Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate care and the role of the key worker.
Topics Covered: What is Care Planning, Changes to the Mental Capacity Act, Advanced Care Planning, Models of Key working, The Role of the Key worker.
