Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2

Overview:: This course is aimed at those who provide direct care to clients, supporting and assisting them with their physical or emotional care, daily living needs and maintaining their independence.

Various pathways are available which offer specialist knowledge  units in order to meet differing workplace requirements.

Candidates will need to complete nine mandatory units and further optional units to total the required number of credits needed for achievement. These will be chosen in Co-operation with your assessor and in line with your duties.  This will be carried out by a combination of written evidence and observations carried out by one of our assessors in your workplace.

You will receive one to one support from one of our experienced assessors as well as support materials individually produced for each candidate and designed by ourselves to make the learning more cohesive.

Who is the course at::

This qualification is aimed at healthcare workers who are working within a care setting and work mainly under supervision.

Duration:

There is no fixed timescale but we do aim to have all candidate completed within 8 months.

 Entry Requirements::

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be able to show your competence within a work setting.
